To drag and drop text

1. Select the item to move.
2. Point to the selection and press the mouse button.

   Your pointer will change to the drag-and-drop pointer.

3. Keep the mouse button pressed and drag the selection to its new location.

   As you move the mouse pointer, a line, called the drop line, will indicate where the item will appear when you release the mouse button.

4. Release the mouse button.

   The selected item appears at the location of the drop line.

• You drop text anywhere but you can only drop items at the same level. For example, slides must remain slides and bullets must remain bullets.
